What is UEN?
The Utah Education Network was born in 1956 when $100,000 was awarded to the University of Utah to explore the potential of closed circuit television in education. KUED, the Utah public television station evolved from this project.
Today UEN provides networking services, application services, and support services to public education, higher education, public libraries and other Utah public entities. Learn more about UEN at http://www.uen.org/ueninfo/history.shtml |

Since its inception, UETN has stood as one of the nation's most successful public/private partnerships and it is a great example of the things high Internet bandwidth can accomplish when it is readily available for educational goals."
